By Gabriel J. Adams
Summarize By Eri RM

Many women enjoy wearing skirts, since they tend to be pretty and feminine; however, the wrong skirt can actually look dowdy. The following are some great tips that will help you dress fashionably with a skirt. Follow these skirt fashion tips and you will get a great look every time you wear a skirt.

Tip #1 - A-line Skirts Flatter All - No matter what your shape or size, a-line skirts are a great choice for a flattering look. Tip #2 - Nix Knee Length Skirts - Another important tip for looking both beautiful and fashionable while wearing a skirt is to avoid wearing a skirt that is knee length. Wearing a skirt that ends just above the knee will lengthen your legs.
Tip #3 - Add a Wide Belt - While small, slim belts may not look great unless you have a super thin waist, wide belts are a great choice with skirts. Tip #4 - Make Sure Long Skirts Have Slits - If you want to wear a longer skirt, you need to make sure that it has a slit in the front, back, or side of the skirt. You can totally kill a great skirt look if you wear the wrong shoes. Wearing flats with a long skirt can make you look dumpy.
When you wear them the right way, skirts are feminine, beautiful and fashionable choices for almost any occasion.

History of Boot Cut Jeans

Due to their popularity many cuts and styles of jeans have been created which are to give people options in the style of jeans they want to wear. These different styles and cuts have each been given a name such as Skinny Jeans, Flared, or Boyfriend Jeans, or Boot Cut Jeans.
History of Boot Cut Jeans
The Boot Cut jeans were originally worn by sailors when they were doing messy jobs so they could get them dirty without worrying. As time went on the hem of the boot cut jeans became wider and wider until soon the boot cut jeans for sailors were replaced by bell bottom jeans and trousers (what we know as today as flared jeans or flared trousers). Still to this day boot cut jeans and trousers are worn by men and women for work wear and casual.

low rise jeans

Low Rise Jeans Tips

We all love low rise jeans but wearing low rise jeans does have some challenges. Firstly, traditional styled jeans end at the waist. Low-rise jeans have to be tight enough around the hips to keep them from falling down. This can often result in the top of the low rise jean cutting into what are coarsely referred to as the "love handles", resulting in an unsightly bulge above and below the jean top. Visually, women's low-rise jeans actually make the hip area larger and the length of the leg shorter. The hip area is generally larger on most women and having the low rise jeans end on the largest part of a women's body draws visual attention there. An additional challenge of girls low rise jeans is that their centre back seam is also quite short. When someone wearing low-rise jeans bends over, it often reveals more of the buttock area than most of us want to see. This also occurs when someone wearing low rider jeans sits down. Clearly then, while low-rise jeans are very comfortable, they do have some challenges when wearing them.
